Boris is a pragmatic and commercially-minded strategic thinker, who has a proven record in leading businesses through their growth journey from inception to exit.

One of those businesses – SILK Laser Australia Ltd – grew from a small 4 clinic operation in 2016 to over 140 clinics throughout Australia and New Zealand. Boris as Chair helped guide SILK though a 7-year pathway of growth from family office capital to PE, through to a successful ASX listing and eventual sale to Wesfarmers Ltd in 2023.

Boris’ other Chair roles include Smile Partners Orthodontics, Orthopaedics SA, Kid Sense Child Development as well as several advisory board positions.

David Leyonhjelm graduated in veterinary science in 1974 and was admitted to the veterinary pharmacology chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 1984.

He also has degrees in law and business.

After working in numerous veterinary practices in Australia, England and Zimbabwe, he joined the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, working in both technical and marketing roles.

In 1989 he established his company, Baron Strategic Services, providing consulting and market research services to the veterinary and agricultural markets. Those services included Baron Senior Placements, which for almost 20 years recruited senior management and technical personnel, including many veterinarians.

He continues to run the company, providing market data services to the industry association, Animal Medicines Australia.

Jason is a seasoned entrepreneur and exponent of the industry leveraged roll-up strategy.

He is Chief Executive Officer of Carlisle Health, a radiology group.

Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Logic Plus, an IT company which he again grew by acquisition.
