Boris is a pragmatic and commercially-minded strategic thinker, who has a proven record in leading businesses through their growth journey from inception to exit.

One of those businesses – SILK Laser Australia Ltd – grew from a small 4 clinic operation in 2016 to over 140 clinics throughout Australia and New Zealand. Boris as Chair helped guide SILK though a 7-year pathway of growth from family office capital to PE, through to a successful ASX listing and eventual sale to Wesfarmers Ltd in 2023.

Boris’ other Chair roles include Smile Partners Orthodontics, Orthopaedics SA, Kid Sense Child Development as well as several advisory board positions.

Jason is a seasoned entrepreneur and exponent of the industry leveraged roll-up strategy.

He is Chief Executive Officer of Carlisle Health, a radiology group.

Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Logic Plus, an IT company which he again grew by acquisition.

Jonathan Smith is an entrepreneur, company director and former Chief Operating Officer with extensive experience building, scaling and transforming businesses. As founder and COO of Shore Solutions, he grew the organisation to more than 2,500 employees across Australia, the UK and the Philippines before leading the business through a successful US$23 million acquisition. Jonathan brings deep expertise in operational leadership, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organisational transformation and value creation. As a Board Member of Mercian Vets, he supports the company's acquisition-led growth strategy, helping build a market-leading veterinary group through operational excellence, strategic integration and sustainable long-term growth.

Andrew Allen is an investor and tech leader with global experience spanning software engineering, corporate leadership, and startup advisory and investment in Australia, the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. An early investor in Mercian Vets, Andrew holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He leverages his background in scaling technology and operational systems to help our veterinary practices streamline back-office operations, de-risk their investments, and focus on clinical care.
